It applies to all visitors to this website and to all personal data submitted through it.<\/p>\n<p>The Company acts as the data controller in respect of such personal data. Personal data we collect<\/h2>\n<h3>1.1 Commercial enquiries<\/h3>\n<p>Where an enquiry is submitted through the website, we collect the name, company, electronic mail address and country of the individual submitting it, the category of enquiry selected, and any information voluntarily included in the message field. Such data is processed for the purpose of responding to the enquiry and evaluating a prospective commercial relationship. It is not added to any marketing distribution list, and is not sold, licensed or otherwise made available to third parties for their own purposes.<\/p>\n<h3>1.2 Applications for employment<\/h3>\n<p>Where an application for employment is submitted, we collect the applicant\u2019s name, electronic mail address, the position applied for, any accompanying message, and any curriculum vitae or r\u00e9sum\u00e9 submitted. Such data is processed for the purpose of assessing the application. Uploaded documents are stored under randomised file names. Applicants are asked not to include categories of data not required at the application stage, including national identity numbers and other government identifiers.<\/p>\n<h3>1.3 Website measurement<\/h3>\n<p>We measure use of the website in order to maintain and improve it. Measurement is conducted in two forms. The first is aggregate and does not involve the storage of information on the visitor\u2019s device or the identification of individual visitors; it operates for all visitors. The second involves cookies and the transmission of data to a third-party analytics provider, and operates only where the visitor has given prior consent by means of the notice presented on first visit. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by clearing this website\u2019s cookies in the browser, whereupon the notice will be presented again.<\/p>\n<h3>1.4 Technical records<\/h3>\n<p>Our servers maintain standard access records, comprising internet protocol address, request time, resource requested and browser identification. Personal data may be disclosed to service providers engaged by the Company, and only to the extent necessary for the provision of the relevant service. Where this occurs, we rely upon the contractual protections offered by the relevant provider in respect of such transfers. Personal data may additionally be disclosed where required by applicable law, regulation or lawful request of a competent authority.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Retention<\/h2>\n<p>Personal data is ordinarily retained for the following periods, save where a longer period is required for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or is otherwise required by applicable law:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>commercial enquiries: up to five (5) years following the last correspondence;<\/li>\n<li>applications for employment: up to two (2) years following submission, in order that the applicant may be considered for subsequent vacancies;<\/li>\n<li>website measurement data: up to fourteen (14) months;<\/li>\n<li>technical records: retained on a rolling basis in accordance with operational requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Backup copies are superseded on a rolling schedule. A request for erasure may accordingly take a number of weeks to propagate through all such copies.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Security<\/h2>\n<p>The website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection. Administrative access is restricted to authorised personnel, and backup copies are maintained in a controlled account. While we implement measures appropriate to the nature of the data processed, no method of transmission or storage is wholly secure, and no absolute guarantee of security can be given.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Individuals in the European Union or the United Kingdom hold equivalent rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, together with the right to lodge a complaint with their national supervisory authority. We would ask in the first instance to be given the opportunity to address the matter directly.<\/p>\n<h2>7. Children<\/h2>\n<p>This website is directed to businesses and to prospective employees. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from any person under the age of eighteen (18).<\/p>\n<h2>8.
